Haj Nimr Tamimi company was established in 1926 by the founder Al-Haj Nimr Tamimi. It is considered one of the biggest national companys and an important economic center in Nablus and Palestine. The company includes more than one hundred and fifty workers, employees and managers to serve the company and the citizens of Nablus city.
Back in time, Al-Haj Nimr Tamimi was one of the first founders of some national companies including: Arab Cement Factory, East Airlines Ltd, Yarmouk Company Ltd, Palestine Potash Company and Haifa Rice Company. He was the first to obtain foreign agency for petroleum like: Shell, where he established two petrol stations in the city of Nablus.
The sons and grandsons of Haj Nimer Tamimi continued to work diligently in supporting charities, Zakah committees, universities and poor families. Prizes were awarded to outstanding students at the Al-Najah National University and various charitable fields under the name of Haj Nimer Tamimi company for Trade and Transportation Company.
